Project-Based Language Learning vs. traditional learning
The difference between Project-Based Learning and simply 'a project' is the difference between dessert and the main course. There are many more components which make up a main course meal than which make up a dessert.
Project-Based Language learning is the 'main course' because it also includes many components. A simple project is 'dessert' because it does not necessarily include the 5 quintessential elements, it comes after the main course, and it can be done alone or at home. PBLL, on the other hand, must be done in teams, is the main course, and have in-class guidance from the instructor(s).
